Obituary of Rosalee Pierson Smith

Rosalee P. Smith, 83, of the Jackson Line Community, passed away March 4, 2024, at Vero Health and Rehab in Sylva NC. She was Born January 15, 1941, to the late Boyd and Chloie Conner Pierson. She was Born in Crichton West Virginia. She loved to garden and work in her flowers, she also enjoyed camping and fishing and above all she enjoyed her time with her family. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband William “Bill” Smith, a sister: Daisy Wright of Richwood WV, and 3 brothers: Myrl Pierson & Frank Pierson of Ravenna OH, & Kenneth Pierson of Berwick PA. She is survived by her brother Terry Pierson (Theresa) of Bryson City; 3 Children William Rickey Smith, Lonney Smith, and Tim Smith; and several grandchildren. She is also survived a host of nieces and nephews and other extended family. Funeral Services will be held Thursday March 7, 2024, at the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home at 2pm. The Family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.
