Obituary of Ralph Michael Allison

Ralph Michael Allison, 64, of Whittier went home to be with the Lord Sunday, August 20, 2023. A native of Jackson County, he was the son of Lamada Thompson of Bryson City and the late Lewis Allison.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Joy Allison and nephew, Jacob Cabe.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughters, Brandi Allison, Brooklyn Gainey; four grandchildren, Aiden Allison, Liam Greene, Campbell and Tanner Gainey; sister, Kim Loftis; and many special friends and cousins.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday at Sherrill Cemetery in Whittier. Rev. Eric Sutton will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Aiden Allison, David Loftis, Chad Woodard, Mark Leff, Blayne Parton, and Alex Camacho.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, Attn: Gift Processing at National Kidney Foundation HQ, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016.
