Mary Cunningham, 81, of Bryson City went home to be with the Lord Saturday, June 17, 2023. A native of Swain county, she was the daughter of the late Claude Cunningham and Lessie Breedlove Sawyers.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Bernice Richie and Claudell Wike.
Mary was employed at Bryson Manufacturing for 22 years as Superintendent. She loved flowers, fishing, camping, and working. Her favorite things were the mountains and working in the yard.
She is survived by her sister, Faye Hyatt; partner for 35 years, Bobby Jenkins; several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev. Jeremiah Wike will officiate with burial in Swain Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 am Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Scott, Mike, Chris, Tyler, and Evan Wike, and Steve and Randy Hyatt.
