Everett and I were so sorry to hear of Floy's passing away. She didn't have to tell you she was a Christian, the love of God even glowed from her face. Her and Tinsey were two of the people who talked to Everett and our son, Shawn, the night they got saved at Smokemont Church. She has helped lead many souls to the Lord. I am sorry we were not able to attend the funeral or visit. We were both sick, but know you are in our prayers and thoughts. Love you all.
She lived with dementia for a long time, but she had moments of joy all along the way because she was surrounded by such a loving and supportive family. I am so sorry for your loss- and I appreciate being a part of her life. Prayers for all of you-
I will always remember Mrs. Mathews with respect. She was truly a blessing to our community and a positive role model for all women. My thoughts and prayers will be with her wonderful family, children, grandchildren and siblings. The angels truly rejoiced when she entered her Kingdom.
