Mrs. Widenhouse figured me out and she didn't mind letting me know it. I developed a great respect for her and her unique style of teaching has stayed with me all these years. She helped so many of us become successful. My thoughts and prayers for her wonderful family.

Marian, I did not know your mom but from what I read she was quite an impressive woman. I know that it is difficult during this time of bereavement but take comfort in God to help you during this difficult time and take comfort in knowing that an angel is watching over you. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family .

Mrs. Widenhouse was my psychology teacher in high school. She opened up a new way of viewing the world for me and my classmates. I've thought about her many times over the years and what a good influence that she was on us. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Ernie and family. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. I was so sorry to hear of Mary Ann passing away. She was Principal at the Elementary when I was first hired. Mr. Widenhouse was teaching English at the High School I believe. She was a great principal, I always admired her, she was such an intelligent woman. She will be missed by many people.

I cannot express enough what an honor it was to be Mrs. Widenhouse's physician. She truly brought so much joy to us in the clinic when she came for a visit; she was one of those patients we were all excited to see. She was such a great role model for women in this community, and her positive outlook on life was something we should all aspire to have. I will ALWAYS remember her.

I am so sorry to read of Mary Ann's passing. As principal of Cherokee Elementary School she was one of my favorites. She was such a strong leader and intelligent woman with a great personality. God Bless her and keep her always in his loving arms. Prayers for her family.
