Obituary of Elma Myrtle Clark

Elma Myra Walsh Clark, 87, of Bryson City N.C., went home to be with The Lord on January 2, 2014. A native of Elizabeth City T.N., she was the daughter of the late Jim Walsh and Myra Bell Walsh. Elma enjoyed her family, gardening, and working outdoors. She loved helping at church of where she was a member at the Bryson City Church Of God. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin Leroy Clark; daughter, Glenda Sue Clark Nations; three brothers, J.L., Bernard, and Earl Walsh; and one sister, Helen. She is survived by two sons, James L. Clark and Jeffrey D. Clark of Bryson City; one brother, Leyland Walsh of Tennessee; three grandsons, Thomas (Jamie) Clark and wife Charlene of Whittier, Beau J. Clark of Bryson City, Brice Nations and wife Jessica of Billings, Montana; one great granddaughter, Kyndall Nations of Billings, Montana. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 4, in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home with the Pastor Marty Pressley officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Clark/Estes Cemetery on West Deep Creek.
