I watched Danny grow up with his sister at Wesser Church. We were al such kids and i am not sure when we all got old. My favorite memory of him and his sister was that his daddy, Stanley, who was a mountain of a man to me then in size and personality used to call Danny and Lorraine 'Boy' and 'Girl' and i swear they would anwser to that before they would to their names... After hearing how Danny rode out the truck to keep from hurting others i thought of this scripture; John 15:13. This is our nephew, my sister in law's son. Lavada, if you read this, we love you and our prayers are with you. Know that Danny is with the Lord, even though we will miss him. My heart is so saddened for all of you. Knowing Danny was a pleasure. I first knew him as a kindergartner and so enjoyed watching him become the man that he was.....a proud father and husband. It was always a treat to see him and get to talk to him. I was privileged to get to share in bits of his life through our school days together and as I had the opportunity to know his family. I am thankful for both. May God wrap all of you in his loving arms and may your wonderful memories bring you comfort in the days ahead.

I was Stanley's science teacher last year at the middle school. I really enjoyed teaching Stanley. He was a kind hearted and respectful young man. Electa and Sons I have never been so grief-stricken by a "Homegoing" as I have been by Danny's. I know from his personal testimony that He was a candidate for Heaven. His life was a living testimony for Christ. Boys, your Daddy was a great and wise man, a Christ-like example for you. Electa, your husband was a kind, loving, hard-working provider for his family. As a teacher, there are some students one knows that are destined to be humble, solid, responsible persons. In all the years that I knew Danny, I never doubted my first impression of him. What a man he became! Family, you were in close proximity of a great, Christ honoring man for a short time.
