Obituary of Charlotte Marie Howell

Charlotte Marie Howell, 73, of Arden, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, August 6, 2013 in a Buncombe County Hospital. A native of Tennessee, she had lived in Buncombe County for the past 20 years. She was the daughter of the late William and Mary Carden. She loved her last job as a cook at Dairy Queen. Charlotte was also a member of Arden Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a brother, Blaine Carden and a baby sister. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, George Howell; five children, Ferlin Brummitt of Arden, Bobbi Brummitt of Florence, SC, Marty Anderson of Florence, SC, Kelly Anderson and wife Stephanie of Austin, TX, Kelvin Anderson of Albuquerque, NM; one stepson, Barton Howell of Whittier; nine grandchildren, Krystal, Brooklyn, Randy, Daniel, Carly, Andrew, Katelyn, Justin, and Hailey. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev. Jimmy Taylor will officiate with burial in the Whittier Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 pm Friday at the funeral home.
