Dear Kay, Peter and family:
My shock and sadness at reading the obituary of Kathleen today is overwhelming.
My arms go around you to provide a small bit of comfort for this huge loss.
Please know my prayers are for all of you and especially for that little girl with the wide smile and beautiful eyes. I have such special memories of her and will always treasure them.

Peter and Kate: Stan and I were shocked to learn from Gianna Carson that your daughter passed away this week. Brenda, George, Stan, and I are in Florida until 18 April. I am sorry that we did not take the time to meet Kathleen. This past year has not been "normal" for us but that does not excuse our short-comings. Our deepest sympathy and prayers are with you and your family during this most difficult time.
