I was so sorry to hear of Mrs Coles passing. I can remember the Coles living on Toxaway tower when I was a child and my dad (Arlie) was the NC Ranger in Jackson County. It was always a joy to visit with Ruth and RC. The Coles were outstanding employees for the State for many years and also good family friends. My prayers to the family. A great lady has left this earth. May God Bless you all.

Mrs. Cole was a great lady that all that new her admired. She and her husband served the State of N.C. with pride. They were always on Toxaway Mtn. When I needed them. She will be missed by all. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. God bless. Dean Galloway and family

We send our thoughts and prayers to the family along with our love. We may not be able to attend the funeral due to illnesses. Aunt Ruth was like a second Mother to all of us although we did not get to see her often enough, but we love her. May God bless each of you and comfort you during your grief.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Mrs. Cole was always so nice to me, I was the ranger in transylvania county. Mrs. Cole would never sign off the radio until she knew that I was safe on the fire or either at home, she was always there anytime of night or day. God be with all the family and I will continue praying for the family.

Although I can't get there for Aunt Ruth's funeral, my thoughts are very much with you. I remember seeing her at Mother's funeral and how well she looked. Hold to the memories of the good years you shared together.
