James Lawrence Malone, 75, of Bryson City NC Went to be with the Lord on July 4, 2022. James was born in Laurens County, SC to James Franklin and Cennie Rhodes Malone on February 27, 1947. He was of the baptist faith, and served honorably in our United States Navy. He worked as grounds maintenance at golf courses for many years. He loved being outside, working in the yard, gardening or a good day fishing. He loved gospel music and singing. James is survived by his daughter, Lorie Cooley(David) of Bryson City. Two sons, Tony Malone of Fountain Inn, SC and Sammy Malone(Stephanie) of Woodruff, SC. Seven Grandchildren, James, Miranda, Josh, and Melody Cooley. Anthony, Olivia, and Ashlynne Malone. Two great grandchildren Lily and Alik Maddox. And many Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Joann Malone, His Mother and Father, son, William Lee Malone, brother, Gerald Malone, and sister Jane Ellen Taylor. Memorial Services will be held at Hillside Baptist Church, 501 Hillside Church rd, Fountain Inn, SC on July 15th 2022 at 1 PM. Reverend Sean Sellars and Preacher Eddie Howard Officiating. The Family would like to thank Four Seasons Hospice for their compassion and care of their loved one and going the extra mile in their time of need.
