Obituary of Betty Ann Hodgson

Betty Ann Hodgson, 71, of Bryson City went home to be with the Lord Thursday March 31, 2022. A native of Georgia and longtime resident of Florida, she was the daughter of the late A. W. Gaskins and Bertha Gaskins.
Betty met her husband Robert Hodgson in Alaska in 1989 and they were married in 1992.
Betty loved the Lord and her family. She was loved by many.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Hodgson; children, Dena Ensley and husband Johnny of Bryson City, and Bobbi Jo Redfearn of Wauchula, FL; grandchildren, Justin Murphy, Ross Ensley, Joseph Redfearn Jr., and Julia Redfearn; great grandchildren, Malakai Redfearn, Serena Redfearn, and Rosealie Macario.
A memorial service will be held 6:00 PM Thursday, April 7, 2022 at Crisp Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Earl Holden will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 6:00 PM Thursday, April 7, 2022 at the Funeral Home.
