Roy, was a great man. He was a great husband and father. I grew up on Parton RD until the age 18. Some of my greatest memories are made of the Elders of that community back when us four boys were being raised by Paul and Beverly Collins or as I call them Dad and Mom. I found out later in life we were raised in a great community that was filled with great people. One of the greatest in my eyes was Roy. Roy always was smiling and encouraging me to do right. You could alway feel the presence of God around Roy and is why he was a great man. Roy and Rachel always made me feel comfortable and loved. Ricki and Ruthie thank you for allowing me to play softball with y’all, it kept me from find trouble. Almost all the great elders that built our community have been called home and I’m excited about the new elders who are ready to keeping our community about God, Family and friends. Take care of each other and support the ones who are in the storms of life. Bless you Roy and your beautiful family. Let’s stay strong and true to the teaching our Dads, Moms and the teaching our elders taught us about life. We can’t lose My friends and family. Dustin Collins and family love y’all and thank you for teaching me the right way in life. Love the Collins family.
