Obituary of George Ray Morgan

George Ray Morgan, 49, of Bryson City passed away Monday, December 20, 2021 at his residence. A native of Swain County, he was the son of Murial Morgan of Bryson City and the late David Dennis Morgan.
He was also preceded in death by his brother, David Morgan.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brother, Daniel Morgan and wife Angie; children, Travis, Trevor, Tyler and Jennifer Morgan; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Monday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev. Eddie Taylor will officiate with burial in the Wesser Creek Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12 to 1 pm Monday at the funeral home.
