Heidi Jenkins Estes, 63, of Whittier went home to be with the Lord Sunday, December 12, 2021. A native of Swain County, she was the daughter of Helen Hurley Jenkins and the late Robert McKinley Jenkins and wife of the late Felix Carroll Estes.
She loved to garden and loved her dogs.
She was preceded in death by her brother, McKinley (Kenny) Jenkins.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughter, Amber Elaine Walton Ledbetter and husband James David Ledbetter; brothers, Mitchell and Jody Jenkins and sister, Gail Anthony.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev. Chris Jenkins will officiate with burial in the Deep Creek Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
