Obituary of Lyndon Monteith

Lyndon Monteith, 78, of Bryson City went home to be with the Lord Friday, November 5, 2021. A native of Swain County, he was the son of the late Dillard and Nellie Jones Monteith.
He was a US Air Force Veteran having served in Vietnam.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Cecil, Kenneth, Arnold and Clayton.
Lyndon is survived by his wife of 50 years, Mary Nell Monteith; children, Lori Kirkland (Josh), Jimmy Monteith (Sonia); four grandchildren who he dearly loved, Gracie and Audrey Monteith, Ayden and Gabe Kirkland; sister, Juanita Thomas; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be at 11:00 am Friday December 3rd in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home.
