Obituary of Frances Joan Moore

Frances “Joan” Moore, born on July 31, 1934, was called home to be with the Lord on October 25, 2021. She was a very tough and strong woman and had made it through many medical tribulations, including having COVID in 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Mable Suskey; sisters Mary Alice Fatoullie; a brother, Dr. John Suskey, a daughter, Nancy Marshall, ex-husband of over thirty-one years, Bill Moore, and great-granddaughter, Kinsley Russell. She is survived by her son, Bill Moore and his wife Myong, as well as a daughter, Cyndi Hoyle. In addition, she is survived by grandchildren, Michael Marshall, Kevin Marshall, Samantha Heigler, Courtney Marshall, Laci Hoyle, Steve Moore, and Daniel Moore; great grandchildren, Khalessi Marshall, Abigail Marshall, Gracelyn Moore, Clara Moore, Leia Moore, and Grant Moore. The family would like to sincerely thank Silver Bluff Village for taking such great care of our loved one during her last bit of journey here on earth. The family will always remain thankful for the excellent care she received. Some of her ashes will be scattered at some of her favorite places at a later date. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October, 27, 2021 at 2:00pm at the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Pastor Shane Silvers will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until 2:00pm prior to the service.
