Robert “Bob” Morgan, 78, of Tuckasegee, went home to be with the Lord Friday, September 24, 2021. A native of Macon County, he was the son of the late Ralph and Billie Trout Morgan.
He was a member of the Jackson County Bass Club, loved Dale Earnhardt and racing and was a US Navy Veteran.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Sandy Morgan; son, Michael Morgan; mother-in-law, Violet Winchester; sisters-in-law, Kathy Kinsey, Arlene Burns, Angie Collins; and brothers-in-law, Ervin and Michael Winchester.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm Sunday at Tuckasegee Baptist Church. Rev. Mark Stiles will officiate with burial in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 pm Sunday at the church.
Crisp Funeral Home is assisting the family.
