Obituary of JC Tabor

JC Tabor, Sr., 79, of Bryson City went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, September 8, 2021. A native of Swain County, he was the son of the late Clyde and Effie Freeman Tabor.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
JC was preceded in death by his son, Charles Tabor.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Barbara Sutton Tabor; two sons, JC Tabor, Jr. and wife Miriam of Robbinsville, Michael Tabor and wife Misty of Bryson City; four grandchildren, Amanda and Zachary Tabor of Bryson City, Matthew Tabor of Waynesville, and Lesleigh Tabor of Franklin; and very special nephew, Rick Tabor of Bryson City.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev. Tom Lavin will officiate with burial in the Lauada Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Rick and Aaron Tabor, James Cabe, Keith and Kregg Parton and Stevie Sutton.
