Mary Stevenson Wike, 86, of Bryson City passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2021.
A lifelong resident of Swain County, she was the daughter of the late Lawson and Florence Duncan Stevenson and wife of the late Hoover Wike.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Stephanie Davis; brothers, Ralph, Tommy and Donald Stevenson; and sisters, Ruby Buchanan, Helen O’diear, Deanie Cook and Dorothy Chambers.
She is survived by her son, Wayne Wike; stepdaughter, Janell Furtak; sister, Hazel Cook; one grandson; and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday at Whittier Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff of Mountain View Manor for their care of Mary.
