Obituary of Brandon Lee Herron

Brandon Lee Herron (Bubba), 34, of Spartanburg, formerly of Bryson City entered Heavens Gates Thursday, August 26, 2021. He was the son of Robert and Kaye Smith Herron. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and loved the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Laws and sister, Monica Stamey. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 14 years, Charissa Barnes Herron; sisters, Kimberley Stanley and husband Scottie of Franklin Angela Phillips and husband Thomas of Spartanburg; brother, Christopher Houston of Franklin; cousin and best friend, Jason Herron and wife Maggie; and many nieces and nephews; one great niece and one great nephew and many cousins, aunts and uncles who he loved dearly. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Revs. Oliver Rice and Marty Pressley will officiate with burial in the Lauada Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Monday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Noah Stanley, Jonah Stanley, Jimmy Passmore, Lil Justin Passmore, Lane Sharpton, Justin Brewer, Shane Webb and Brody Bowman. Honorary Pallbearers will be Christopher Houston and Jason Herron.
