Obituary of Lonnie Armachain

Lonnie Armachain, 73, of Cherokee passed away on July 28, 2021. He was born in Jackson County, on December 31, 1947 to the late Stacey Armachain and Henderson Climbingbear Sr. Lonnie worked as a truck driver and a construction worker throughout his lifetime. Mr. Armachain served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War; he worked and received his GED while serving in the Army. He was a member of Big Cove Baptist Church. He was known as very helpful man and a family man. In addition, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and cooking.
Mr. Armachain is survived by five daughters, Stacy Armachain, Tanya Armachain, Rebecca Armachain, Alexis Armachain and Tracy Ramos; one son, Tommy Armachain; ten grandchildren, Kyzer George, Kena Lopez, Dine Lopez, Nizhoni Lopez, Jova Guerrero, Leticia Mejia, Selena Guerrero, Michael Wolfe, Casper Wolfe, and Nicole Lopez; ten great grandchildren, Keynan A Castillo, Jayden Mohedano, Xavier Castillo, Fabian, Nevaeh, Aliyah, Sergio, Malakia Littlejohn, Kenai Wolfe, and Adalisdi Wolfe; one sister, Debbie Armachain; three brothers, Ned Armachain, Henderson Climbingbear Jr., and Larry Armachain Sr.; one son in law, Vicente George. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by Catherine Armachain and Tommy Armachain.
A Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at 10:00am at Yellowhill Baptist Church with Pastor Keith Carson officiating. Burial will follow at Yellowhill Veterans Cemetery. Vicente George, Joe Lopez, Oscar Silva, Cody Sampson, Tony Bernhisel, Ryan Cook, Howard Taylor Jr. and Steven Bird will serve as pallbearers. The family asks that masks please be worn in the church in order to attend the service. Crisp Funeral Home is assisting the Armachain family.
