Carroll Estes, 72, of Whittier went home to be with the Lord Monday, July 26, 2021. A native of Swain County, he was the son of the late Ben and Annie Sue Estes.
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Virginia Karlen.
Carroll is survived by his wife of 34 years, Heidi Estes; daughter, Amber; brother, Johnnie Estes and wife Betty Jo; sisters, Linda Slate and husband Edward (Butch), Mary Jane Brabson and husband James; nephews, Brian and Randy Slate, Sean Estes and wife Chantell, Eric and Jonathan Estes; nieces, Charlee and Brooklyn, and Sara Weaver and husband Michael.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm Saturday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Chris and Joe Jenkins will officiate with burial in the Deep Creek Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
