Obituary of Annie Lee Kirkland

Annie Lee Kirkland, 86, of Bryson City went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, July 20, 2021. A native of Swain County, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Francis Collins Crowder and wife of the late Lee Kirkland.
She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her son, Edgar Kirkland and her great granddaughter, Brianna.
Annie is survived by her children, Earl Kirkland, Nancy Johnson, Richard Kirkland, and Dora Crisp; 10 grandchildren and many great grandchildren; sisters, Polly Taylor of Canton and Willa Fae Garrett of Candler.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Lauada Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 pm Friday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Johnson, Brian Kirkland, Josh Kirkland, Eli Kirkland, Bradley Kirkland and Brady Kirkland.
