Jason Gary Webb, 42, of the Coopers Creek Community went home to be with the Lord unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 9, 2021. Jason was born in Michigan but the Mountains drew him home to Bryson City, NC in 2009. He was the son of Jack H. Webb and his partner Rhonda Gibson both of Bryson City, and the late Gail Rice Webb. In addition to his mother, he was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Doris Rice and Dewey and Reathel Webb, and an aunt, Geraldean Webb. In addition to his father, he is also survived by his sister, Jodi Vogeli and husband Mike of Canton, MI; two nephews, Seth and Lucas Vogeli; a niece, Maya Vogeli; an uncle, Delbert Webb; cousins, Dewey Jason Webb, and Jennifer Hunt and their extended families; aunts, Donna Underwood, and Doris Nations; uncle, Gary Rice of AZ, and their extended families, and his Swain Middle School Family. Jason’s one true love was teaching children at Swain County Middle School. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday at Crisp Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Tony Cochran will officiate with burial at Thomas Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Wednesday at the Funeral Home. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to PAWS Animal Shelter at PO Box 1814 Bryson City, NC 28713, or to the Swain County Middle School 7th Grade Fund at 135 Arlington Ave. Bryson City, NC 28713.
