Alvin Massey, 76, of Whittier passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2021.
A native of Chester, SC, he was born on March 24, 1945, to the late Flora Mae Massey.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Vickie Massey, children, Vickie Carpenter and Eugene Massey and sister in law, Becky Ledford.
Alvin is survived by a daughter, Rebecca Massey; son, James Massey; one brother, Floyd Massey of Pageland, SC; one sister, Gene Garner of SC; brother in law, Gary Hunter (Joyce); grandchildren, Darryll Brandt, Brandon Carpenter, Amanda Carpenter; Austin Pyles, Eugene Pyles, Samuel Rose, Sabrina Rose, Hannah Massey, and Ansley Jackson; 10 great grandchildren and special friends, Jess Bazemore and Christopher Pratt.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00pm on Saturday, June 5, 2021 in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service.
