Buddy Lee Parris, 70, of Whittier went home to be with the Lord Saturday, May 1, 2021.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Gladys Parris; wife of 37 years, Barbara Parris; and son, Robert Parris.
He was a member of the Qualla Fire Department for 26 years.
Buddy is survived by his wife, Lillie Parris; three children, Christy Case and husband Jamie, Angie Reynolds and husband Richard, Buddy Parris and wife Stacy; step son, Michael Caldwell; six grandchildren, Daniel Parris Skidmore, Allison Skidmore, Noah Clayton, Brianna Reynolds, Brooklynn Parris, Kaylee Parris; step grandson, Ricky Caldwell; two great grandchildren, Sophia and Carter Frady; two brothers, Harold and DL Parris; and longtime friends, Carson Cookston, Lynn and Kent Cochran and Lex and Wendy Price.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Parris Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 pm Friday at the funeral home.
