Sylvia Dair Cable Smith, 84, of Graham County, NC went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, March 31, 2021. A native of Graham County she was the daughter of the late Pearlie Cable and Cora Rose Cable. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Harvey Smith; one daughter, Freda Dawson, and 16 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by two children, Frelan J. McNeal of Knoxville, TN, and Candy A. Elliott and husband Carl Elliot Jr., of Knoxville, TN; 16 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday at Pearlie Cable Cemetery in Almond, NC. Rev. Carl Elliott Jr. will officiate.
