Oh Johnny, I'm so deeply saddened to hear of your passing! You were such a great person and neighbor! I always enjoyed coming over to see you all and play with Jonathon and Elliott as children. My condolences, love and prayers to Rita, Jonathon, Elliott, Erica and Salina; as well as the extended family. So thankful for God's promise of no more pain and illness in heaven! Say hello to Grandma Marie up there until we all can be together again....

Sincere condolences. John taught me so much as a young Ranger in the Smokies. There were not many Rangers whom I looked up to, but John was as the top. Go rest high on that mountain, well done John, well done.

It was truly a pleasure having met you John when David and I were there on vacation. David was so proud of all of his family in Bryson City . He talked a lot about you as a ranger in the Smoky Mtns. May God comfort your family and grace them with peace in knowing they will see you again someday❤

John my old friend you will be missed, your great laugh and caring spirit are silenced on earth but as the winds blow through the Smokies we shall hear your soft voice from Heaven and smile.

John and I worked several internal investigations together all over the US in the early days. He was a superior investigator. John had a uncanny ability to relate to all stratums of our society. John was a GOOD MAN....Ranger....and Special Agent. He now goes to meet his maker. God Bless John.

My condolences to the family. John thank you for your service and dedication. I remember your detail as CR in VI and i was a Park Ranger in PR. Called me a few times to do work there and to translate. Great boat skills. You will be missed. Rest in peace.

Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us everyday, unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still dear and missed every day.
