Vincent Virgil Thomasson, 83, of Bryson City passed away Saturday, August 27, 2016 at his residence. A native of West Virginia, he was the son of the late Harvey Thomasson and Bertha Bumgarner and husband of the late Olive Jane Thomasson. He was a US Army Veteran having served in the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Ray Thomasson and his sisters, Thelma Wiggins and Wilma Sedleck.
He is survived by two sons, Kevin Thomasson and wife Teresa, Raymond Thomasson; three grandchildren, Bently Harris, Christopher Thomasson, Rebecca Thomasson; sister, Ruth Dudley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday at Swain Memorial Park. Bragg Jones will officiate.
Crisp Funeral Home is assisting the family.
