Bonnie Johnson Crisp, 94, of Bryson City passed away Friday, March 26, 2010 in a Swain County health care facility. A native of Cherokee County, she had lived in Swain County for most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Patton and Vinner Martin Johnson. She was owner/operator of Crisp Camara Shop along with her late husband Clyde. She was a member of the Bryson City First Baptist Church. She is survived by one daughter, Brenda C. Reed and husband Ray of Clearwater, FL; two sons, Lewis Crisp and wife Sarah B. of Bryson City, Jay C. Crisp and wife Linda of Bryson City; four grandchildren, Robbie Craig, Tonya Sherrill, Josh Craig, Carroll Crisp; nine great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; one brother, Wayne Johnson of Murphy; one sister, Hazel Johnson of Durham; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Revs. John Tagliarini and James Plummer will officiate with burial in the Panther Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
