Obituary of Ray Lackey
Ray Lackey went to his Heavenly home Saturday, March 2, 2019. He was 88 years old.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Georgia Lois Lackey; daughter, Kathy; son Fred and Grandson, Michael; seven brothers and three sisters; his parents, Dutch and Talitha Lackey.
Ray was a Corporal in the US Army from 1950 - 1954 where he served during the Korean War.
He is survived by his children, Charles Lackey (Joyce), Sandra Lackey, Ann Woodard and Yvonne Swan; 10 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; son-in-law, Jamie Waldroup and his caregiver, Misty Taylor.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
