Robert Lee Dills, 70, of Bryson City went home to be with the Lord Sunday, March 25, 2018. A native of Swain County, he was the son of the late Clarence and Eva Franks Dills. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, Buddy, Belva, J.V. and Joe Cecil.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Mary Dills; four children, Edward Dills and wife Agnes of Bryson City; Kira Dills of Bryson City; Eric Dills and wife Jeannette of Bryson City, Adam Dills of Whittier; two grandchildren, Diren Dills, Devin Dills; two brothers, Oliver Dills and Henry Dills; and two sisters, Catherine Freeman and Betty Lackey.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Preacher Sam McMahan will officiate with burial in the Wesser Creek Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
