Alda Nettie Palestine Woodard Wilson, "Granny", went home to Heaven of Tuesday, March 20, 2018. Born July 3, 1930 to Bryant and Oma Woodard she lived most of her life at her home on Alarka. Alda was a lifetime member of the Alarka Church of God, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother. She spent the last 13 years as a resident of Mountain View Manor Nursing Home.
Alda was married to Woodrow Wilson, the love of her life! She is survived by her children, Linda Wike (Ronnie), Lambert Wilson (Jenny), Laverne Wilson, and Lorri McDowell (Adam); 9 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 13 great great grandchildren: a brother, Frelin Woodard; several nieces and nephews, and Mary Miller her Mountain View Manor roommate. »(Do not delete this line.
