Laurence (Larry) Banks Williams, 63, of Bryson City, NC passed away on June 3, 2017 in his home.
Larry was born in Tampa Florida on August 16, 1953. He is the son of Joan Saunders and the late George Williams.
Larry was a Florida State University graduate working in hospitality management for 39 years.
Larry enjoyed socializing and entertaining anyone and everyone with his outgoing personality, quick wit, and smile. He was an avid FSU football fan, NASCAR fan, and loved to discuss his political views.
He is preceded in death by his father George Williams. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Debbie, son Matthew, step-children Adam and Veronica Jett, granddaughter, Annabella Coleman, mother Joan Williams, sisters Carol Williams, Leslie Williams, Julie O'Toole, and cousins, nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at Crisp Funeral Home at 3:00 pm on Saturday June 10 with Branton Loftis officiating.
