Jay Stephenson, 83, of Bryson City passed away Friday, January 20, 2017. A native of Swain County, he was the son of the late Frank and Lillian Stillwell Stephenson. He was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in the Korean War.
He is survived by his sister, Marilyn Stephenson; and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Lauada Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 am Wednesday at the funeral home.
