Marymae Lindsey, 87, of Bryson City, NC went home to be with the Lord Thursday, January 19, 2017. Born in Westminster, MD, she was the daughter of the late John Melvin Hopkinson and Anna Berdolia Viola (Beegle) Hopkinson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawson Lindsey; son, Roscoe Lindsey; brothers, Johnmurray and Melvin Hopkinson. Marymae retired from Swain County Hospital and has also worked at Fryemont Inn and the Sleep Inn in Bryson City. She is survived by a son, Johnirvin Lindsey (Beverly) of North Charleston, SC; daughter, Arbannah Holland of Bryson City; grandchildren, Aaron, Ashlea and Lindsey (Jason); great grandson, Wyatt and a sister, Anna Rebekah Rill (Paul) of Westminster, MD. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev. Mike Cogdill will officiate with burial in the Cold Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 pm Monday at the funeral home.
