William Thomas Jordan, 87, of Cherokee, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, December 18, 2016. A native of Camden, TN and longtime resident of Jackson County, NC, he was the son of the late Bob and Minnie Jordan. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by one daughter, Cece Jordan; one son Marcus Jordan, and two brothers Dewayne and James Jordan. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Barbara Queen Jordan; one son Bill Jordan of Franklin; four step-children, Leroy Blankenship of Cherokee, Denise Neesam and husband David of Whittier, Tony Blankenship and Debbie of Whittier, and Dennis Blankenship and wife Cathy of Lagrange, IN; one brother Dewey Jordan and wife Candace of Severna Park, MD, and many step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday at Crisp Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Steve Jamison will officiate with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery in Franklin NC. The family will receive friends from 6:30 until 8:30 PM Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
