Curley Osborne, 85, of Bryson City passed away Sunday, December 4, 2016. A native of Buchanan county, VA, he was the son of the late James Lewis and Rosie Louise Osborne. He was also preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Delphia Mae (Ward) Osborne; three daughters, Donna Faye and Sherlene Osborne and Juanita Calhoun; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren; four brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his wife, Ethel Brendle Osborne; two daughters, Gloria Beverline (Hassell Burke) of Bristol, VA, Teresa Greer of Bristol, VA; two sons, Rickey Allen (Glenn) Osborne of Bristol, TN, Marion Osborne of Kansas; one brother, Burley Osborne of Chilhowe, VA; 14 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and 12 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Brendle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
