Obituary of Vivian Ethel Greene

Vivian Ethel Greene, 75, of Bryson City went home to be with the Lord Monday, November 21, 2016 at her residence. A native of Swain County, she was the daughter of the late Nathan D. and Lois Wiggins Greene. She was a member of Round Hill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Peggy Mason and her grandson, Logan Somers.
Vivian was survived by her two sons, Dean Somers and wife Lesia of Bryson City, Calwood Somers and wife Kelly of Easton, MD; three grandchildren, Dustin, Kiley and Brittany Somers; one great grandchild, Madelyn Johnson; two sisters, Ann Wright and Judy Spates; and three brothers, Gary, Melvin and Forrest Greene.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev. Dewayne Kirkland will officiate with burial in the Somers Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
